A user may have many favorite filters across many projects.
Request was to have only their favorite filters loaded up in a Project Dashboard gadget that's only associated with that particular project.
We've loaded the favorites filters gadget, but it's across projects. We've loaded other gadgets with currentuser based filters.
I guess, upshot is - how do you find a current user's 'favorite' filters using JQL?
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!
Steph
@smiserlis, there is not a way to do this. There have been similar suggestions made to Atlassian for this capability (ex. JRACLOUD-30517) that have been closed as "Won't Fix" back in 2013. FWIW, I have more or less steered clear of this gadget due to Atlassian's caution on potential performance impact. You can certainly open a new suggestion. I certainly see the benefit of being able to create a list of associated filters for a dashboard and displaying there.
And just to answer the question directly - JQL finds issues, not filters.
