Hello,
We use Jira server 7.13
"Somebody" deleted a task on which time was logged. => All is lost.
Is there a way to find the author of this deletion ?
Marc
Hi @support-atlassian_effisoft-group_com ,
Welcome to Community !
Currently audit log does not provide issue deletion info and please find below atlassian ticket for your reference.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-59371
Please watch or vote the above ticket for further updates.
As workaround, currently it is possible to search for calls such as "/secure/DeleteIssue" in JIRA and/or Tomcat Access log to identify when and who deleted an issue.
Thanks,
Avinash
Hello Avinash,
Thank you for your suggestion.
We looked for /secure/DeleteIssue message in tomcat logs and we found somes lines.
We know how deleted tasks and when => Good.
Unfortunately the is no indication on the task deleted nor its project. => it does not help us.
I removed the possibility to delete tasks.
Thank you anyway.
Marc
