Can titles of swim-lane issue (parent) expand to maximum width?

We've started using Swim lanes, recently and so far, so good. Personally, I work on a Mac and the Jira macOS native app is quite great (better experience than the web version), except for a single, very annoying, problem: the title of swim-lane parent items.

This is in the Jira Mac App. The title of swim-lane parent is limited to a single column, which is very short. Columns cannot be expanded, so even on my 34" ultra wide monitor, a lot of space is lost.

This, in contrary to the Jira web version, where the title is clearly and completely visible.

The Mac app has been around for over a year and I viewing the changelog, swim-lanes isn't a recently introduced version.

Therefor I really wonder why this issue hasn't been resolved yet as it's very annoying.

Can someone offer a solution?

Indeed, the Jira Mac App displays only a small description of the title of swimlanes on boards, so we created the following feature request to allow the title to be expanded:
