Can the Free/Cloud-Version of JIRA be connected to MS Teams?

Dear whoever,

we are currently evaluating JIRA to be introduced in our company. We have found the webhook app "JIRA cloud" in MS teams that allows issues to be displayed and edited and wanted to evaluate how both work together.

Unfortunately, when I enter the URL of our JIRA system into the app, the URL is deemed invalid and no connection can be established.

Is it mandatory to buy JIRA before the connection to MS Teams can be made?

Hi Philipp - You probably need to install the MS Teams App on the Jira side first using the Marketplace Apps. Go here and search for Microsoft Teams For Jira Cloud.
