Can't see To-Do sub-tasks in active sprint

When viewing the scrum board of an active sprint, we're not seeing sub-tasks with a status of "To-Do".

This is the issue in the backlog, with subtasks:

These are the sub-tasks, there are several open to-do items, but they do not show up in the view above:

Hello Scott,

Sorry to hear you are facing a problem. Please, follow the checklist below to determine why the sub-task in the To-Do status are not appearing in your board:

1 - Double check if the sub-tasks are children of the mentioned Story (CD-1000)

2 - Navigate to Board settings > General > Check if the board filter is not excluding the "To do" status. In fact, run the board query and check if the sub-tasks in "To do" are returning:

3 - Navigate to Board settings > Columns > Check if there is a "To Do" status under the unmapped statuses (Most right column).

Let me know your results.

Hi Scott,

I see that your board is not displaying all the issues you would expect here.  I have a few clarifying questions I hope will help us troubleshoot this.

  1. Are there any quick filters enable on this board view that might be hiding these?
  2. Are all of the subtasks you listed below, children of the parent issue CD-1000 ?
  3. I'd be interested to see if you can go into the board settings to see the General section. Specifically do you see any warnings here about the filter might contain issues in status that will not be shown on the board?  If so, then it might help to go to the Columns of that board settings to see issue statuses are expected to appear in the first column.

If these don't clear up what is happening here, I would be interested learn more about the specific filter being used for this board (the JQL syntax could be a clue), as well as seeing any Quick Filters defined for that board that might be setup to exclude issues in that status from appearing on the board itself.

Cheers,

Andy
