I use my company URL name-here.atlassian.net on my desktop to login, and everything is fine.
I try to do the same thing on my iPad Pro, with Safari, and it just repeatedly asks for my username and password.
Triple checked for typos, even tried changing the password.
Using the latest iOS 12 release.
Hi Sean,
Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
Just for us to better understand and help you with this issue, may we know if this issue is happening only on Safari? Have you tested using another browser on iPad?
I've found some tickets related to this issue and it was related to the iOS 12, but the Beta version.
Also, there is a feature request suggesting the ability for Jira to be supported on iPad:
This feature covers many features, such as Add support for mobile Safari on the iPad and Support the iPad browser for example.
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.
Regards,
Angélica
Thanks for your response, Angélica.
I installed Chrome on the iPad Pro, and login worked as expected. This solves my problem of being able to use the desktop Atlassian on an iPad Pro. :)
The only point of contention I have left is a common one amongst websites... to default to a mobile view. Fortunately, "request the desktop site" works acceptably if you ignore the error from id.atlassian.net about authentication and just reload the page.
Have a great day!
