Can't change full name with Google login credentials

When I log into Jira using my company's Google account, I go to Profile Settings and try to change my display name (so it's just Chris and not Christopher), and it asks me for my password.

I've tried entering my Google password but this isn't recognized.  Is there a way to change my display name?

Hi Chris! If you log in to JIRA using your Google account, it means your JIRA site is managed by Google and changes need to be made in the Google side. You'll need to contact your administrator and ask him to change your name for you.
