Can't Create KanBan Boards

I created a team kanban project in JIRA. It is currently not allowing me to utilize the Kanboard board features where I can create swim lane, add the appropriate filters or create multiple boards. Currently I only have the ability to manage one board with no swim lanes. I tried to update all the configurations in the project settings but I am unable to enable the Kanban features. I am set up as the project lead and Admin. Perhaps I don’t have permissions to enable this feature on my project? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @John Witmer and welcome to the Community!

And also welcome to team managed projects 😅 - where you cannot configure all these options on the board. If you want to configure your (kanban) boards with all the options you mention, company managed projects and the associated boards do offer those features instead.

Thanks so much for the quick response! I spent hours looking for this. Is it possible to turn a project into a company managed project after it had begun?
