first might I ask if the Fix Version is visible on the view/edit screen? Assuming you have the FV on the screens then let's turn our attention to displaying on the cards. If you are using a full-featured Kanban or Scrum board you can edit the board settings - card layout and add the field. However, you mentioned "company managed business". If indeed this is a business project then I suspect you have a default board that is not configurable as mentioned. You can create another board that allows you to achieve your goal but it will need to be associated to your profile and afterwards add a shortcut on your project sidebar.
