Hi, I just noticed this new 'Atlassian Project' grouping. When I use it, here is the result. Could someone explain what it actually does/what its purpose is, and whether we can disable it ?

Thanks

Hi @Wakil BENAMOUR,

This is coming from the Atlassian Project app, included for free in your subscription and part of the Platform Experiences. Atlassian just rolled out this improvement to create a more integrated experience - an announcement video was included in the summer release release notes. You can check it out here: https://jirareleases.atlassian.com/announcements/atlassian-projects-now-in-jira.

More background on what projects are is also available in this support article.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the explanation, Walter. I was also a bit confused about the new grouping and what it was actually meant for. The link to the release notes helps clarify the reason behind the change.

Hi Walter

Thank you for your reply.

I'm still trying to understand the concrete purpose and added value of this feature in our environment. Currently, I am unable to test it as the field is not available in our field list or screen configurations.

Could you confirm if there is an option to deactivate or hide this 'Atlassian Project' grouping globally so that our users don't see it?
