Can "initiative" work item type migrate from Jira core to Jira premium?

My org is in the process of upgrading from Jira Core to Jira premium however, we've already begun creating "initiative" work item types in our current issue type configuration. Once we switch from Jira Core to Jira Premium would we lose the "Initiatives" we've already created?

Are you upgrading the same Jira instance?

If so, upgrading to Premium shouldn't effect your existing data - you'll still have all the issues you previously created.

Hi @Ste Wright  yes, we're upgrading the same Jira instance.  I suspected we wouldn't lose the issue types but your answer confirms it. Thanks.
