Can calendar view be limited to see more concurrent tasks?

I'm trying to use the calendar view to get a feel for timing of various tickets which have start and due dates defined. However, Some of the weeks have many concurrent tickets and when viewing a whole month only 2-3 are shown, and to see any others, I can click the +n more button. 

It would be very useful if I could either restrict the view from 6 weeks down to 1-2 and have larger cells for the days which could display the whole set (or at least display more), or force the calendar to show all tasks by expanding cells to show them all. The date filter I have found only changes which tasks are visible in the calendar, but the calendar cells stay the same height and no more concurrent tasks are displayed. Are either of these possible or is it otherwise possible to increase how many tasks are shown concurrently in the view?

As for now: no, I'm afraid. There are a couple of things you can do to work around the view limitation you mention, though:

• use the filtering options at the top of the screen to limit the amount of issues shown by assignee, status or a lot of custom fields to choose from;
• use a different view to display the issues coming up for the current week, e.g. with a filter results gadget on a dashboard
