Can a team-managed backlog board be shared or sent out for review?

Hello,

I am site admin. Someone in my group created a Team-managed board. She wants to be able to share or send out the backlog (see screenshot) to her team so they can quickly see what all still needs to be done (she wants her team to SEE what needs doing without having them needing to be logged in Jira). Currently she's been taking screen grabs of the backlog and sharing it that way, but she asked if there was a faster, easier way to do that?

I thought if I updated the global permissions for dashboard sharing, that would solve it, but it hasn't. So, what am I missing here?Jira screenshot.JPG

Hello @Victoria Vlad

I note that your requirement is that the users not be required to login to Jira to see the information. However, are the users licensed users of Jira with access to the project? Could they login to Jira and view the board?

The global permission for sharing dashboards and filters is about the ability to use the Share option for those entities, not about making them visible outside of the Jira application. Additionally, these are agile project boards, not the "dashboards" that are relevant to the sharing permission.

As per the documentation it is not possible to make Team Managed projects available anonymously, so the ability to see the board will require users to login to the Jira application. If it was a Company Managed project, those can be made anonymously accessible.

So, there is no native method to make the Team Managed project board visible to users outside of logging in to Jira.

Hello @Trudy Claspill . Yes, the users we want to share the dashboard with are licensed Jira users. During a meeting, we would like to quickly show them the backlog so they can see what is coming up without needing them to log into Jira to see it. We've been using screen grabs till now to accomplish this but wondered if there was an easier way to do this.
