I want users to set priorities for tickets and based on their priorities automatically get assigned due dates. When I look at other Atlassian tickets on how to do this I see the scripts but I don't know how to implement that way. I have a partially done automation for this but I'm wondering if I could just do the {{now.plusBusinessDays(X)}} (see above) and set the X depending on whatever my users specify for high/medium/low. Or I need post-functions/scripts?
