Hi,
I am new to Jira and I am trying to find a way to view tasks and subtask under one view as timeline/ roadmap with the free version, I tried Planyway but cannot seem to vie every task and subtask
Thanks
Hi @Ana-Maria Guzu welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In the free version of Jira you cannot create timelines that include multiple projects.
You can use our app (Visor) to create timelines and Gantt charts (and other views like tables, Kanban boards, and dashboards) that all incorporate Jira multiple projects, including all issue types (epics, tasks, subtasks, and more) in a single visualization.
Visor has a two-way integration with Jira, you can import multiple projects, filter out certain issues (for example complete issues) and issue type.
Importantly, Visor keeps your Jira nesting in tact, so your subtasks stay nested below their tasks, and the tasks stay nested in their epics (example below).
You can try Visor for free here
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-spreadsheet-gantt-chart-for-jira-with-excel-export?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
I've included a few screenshots of timelines and roadmaps (Gantt charts) in Visor using multiple Jira projects, and a close up that shows the correct nesting of all your tasks and subtasks in Visor.
Hope that helps! If you have any questions about Visor feel free to get in touch.
Hey @Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira Thank you, just tried it out, so far so good.
