I can see option for giving permissions to individuals/ groups/ roles.
Do we have something where I want my complete Jira users to access a project and restrict only a few for not viewing the project. I can't add 450 users to a group and give access for browsing the project, easier way is to create a group of those 10 people and restrict them to browse the project.
Hi @Satyendra Luckwani !
I'm afraid there's no way to explicitly restrict some users from accessing a project while allowing access to all the other. At least not that I'm aware of. You can avoid creating a group of 450 people by using Project Roles. This way you don't need to add one person after another, you can operate on a groups level which should be much more easier.
Hope it helps.
Thanks for the response. But the way role works is also a bit similar, with just giving different types of access at different levels like create issue, delete issue, edit issue etc.. For assigning a role to someone you again have 2 options only either individual or a group. Now in this case also will have to add 450 people either directly in a role or in the group. Have tried this at role level. Thanks again !
