I have temporarily changed roles within the same organisation. My old team and new team use different Jira project boards. However, some of my work has come with me to the new team, and I'd like to copy all the details of the project & related tasks from my old Jira board to the new one, rather than do a major re-write. Is this possible?
Yes, that is possible, as long as you are using company managed projects. Boards are controlled by a filter that tells the board what issues it should display, so you could create a new board that shows all the issues you want to see.
Additionally if these teams are using different projects and your old team does not need to "keep" the items assigned to you, then those issues can be Moved to the project belonging to your new team.
