Can I export defined fields, plus those same fields from linked tickets?

Jira offers several set export types from search results. What I'm looking for is a way to:

  • Define which fields in tickets get exported (because I don't understand "Current" (although it's clearly not all that I see on the standard view page) and "All" is too many)
  • Include in the export all linked tickets--and not all in a chain, but just one level deep--, linked tickets not just in the Linked Issues field but linked in any field, and the same defined fields in those (and ideally, the export would also include the "parent" ticket number of those linked tickets)

I can't find anything in the docs that would suggest this is possible. But maybe there's a way?

"Current" means "the list of columns you currently have chosen to show in the search results screen"

You can't export data from issues that are not on the issue.  The point of a search is that it shows you the data on the issues you searched for.

If you want to get data from other issues on an issue, you'll need to find a way to expose the data as though it is part of the current issue.  The most simple way would be to use scripted fields from one of the apps that provide them.
