In a Configure Screen Scheme page, there are 3 entries that all list the same screen: Default, Create issue, and Edit issue. In the Actions column, all 3 entries show 'Edit', but the Create issue and Edit issue rows also show 'Delete' under Actions.
Am I correct in concluding that I can/should delete the Create issue and Edit issue entries?
The Screen Scheme enables you to have different screens for the Create Issue operation and the Edit Issue operation. Default specifies the screen to use if either Create Issue or Edit Issue operations are not explicitly defined.
If all three are using the same screen, then you could delete the entries for the Create Issue operation and the Edit Issue operation.
There is also a possibility that there is an entry for View Issue operation.
If they are using different screens, you should not delete the entries.
The screen used in the Create Issue dialog will use the screen specified for the Create Issue operation (in the scheme) if that is set. Otherwise it will use the screen specified for Default.
The Edit Issue operation screen used to apply when there was a separate Edit Issue button that would open a dialog for editing all fields at once. Such a dialog is no longer available in the Cloud environment. I think the Edit Issue operation screen may still have impact on the Edit Issue action in Automation Rules, limiting which fields can be edited, but I haven't tested that thoroughly.
