We transferred Jira and Confluence from one org as a site into and under another (parent) org last spring. Now we have one org with 2 sites, which is exactly what we want. However, the parent org's site doesn't use (and isn't prepared to use) Confluence while the transferred site uses it heavily for requirements tracking.
We had to have matching products across sites to complete the transfer. However, now that we are established under the single org, can I close the parent site's Confluence (free) account without causing harm to the transferred site's product use? Atlassian is saying they will do that for us if Confluence usage remains inactive. I need confidence that the other active Confluence content won't go with it. Thanks!
