How can I automatically add the Bamboo build or deploy number to a JIRA ticket's fixVersion field when a release is pushed to production?

Do you know the JIRA issue key? If so, then you can use Run CLI Actions in Bamboo and the JIRA CLI action task to run the updateIssue action.
