Can I auto-link to a Version number from a comment or Description?

Just like I can type PROJECT-123 to get a link to that project key, is there a way to do that to refer to a Version list entry?

That is not currently a feature of the product. You would need to paste the explicit URL linking to the Release.

Thank you. Note for other readers of this: I want to be able to easily link to not-yet-released Versions too.
