Did you mean:

Can Auto-scheduler feature also work when the estimation is done by HOURS instead of Story Points?

Dear All,

Please,

When Reading the Auto-Scheduler description page below:

How does the auto-scheduler in my plan work? | Jira Cloud | Atlassian Support

...all the description is based on Story Points estimation.

Does anyone know if the feature works exactly the same when we "Estimate work using" HOURS?

Thanks,

Lucas

Hi @Lucas Pereira dos Santos ,

It should work the same. This is the official article for switching how work is estimated: Change how work is estimated in your plan
The only difference should be the units themselves.

I think I've tested this a while back, and it worked as expected.

Are you seeing any discrepancies when using one over the other?

Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Lucas Pereira dos Santos

Welcome to the community.

In you plan settings you can define the way of scheduling based on hours, days or story points.

The feature is exactly the same as for story points, but you will need to do your estimation on all related items in the plans based on the same estimation.
