Bulk "Stop watching" doesn't seem to work?

Bulk edit on "Stop Watching" doesn't seem to work.

What do I do

  1. Find all the relevant issues
    • Issues
    • JQL
  2. Click Tool --> Bulk change All Issues (top right corner)
  3. [Choose Issues - step 1 of 4] Mark all (relevant) issues --> Next
  4. [Choose operation - step 2 of 4] Stop Watching Issues
  5. [Confirm - step 4 of 4 (step 3 is skipped)] Confirm
  6. Acknowledge

What I expect

I expect all checked issues from step 2 and 3 are changed, so I stop following the issue

What happens

I'm still watching the issues ???

Other information

Version: JIRA Software 7.4.4

Hello Rasmus,

Thanks for reaching out to Community for not being able to stop watching via a bulk edit of your issues. From the steps you provided, this looks to be a reported bug which is reported and related to autowatch being enabled which is causing your bulk edit to not be honored when used. Further information on this may be found at JRASERVER-65109. Please review this issue and vote/watch if this is similar to your experience.

I hope this information proves helpful.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers

Thanks.

It seems that we need to update our aging server...
