I have been using the "old style" of uploading our work into Jira. Everything is put into a CSV file, uploaded and our project mapping was already figured out ages ago.
2 weeks ago, the link I had went dead. I searched for an archived link. Found it, used that for 2 weeks and now THAT link is dead.
The way it allows you to upload a bulk CSV is not working. I cannot get any new work into Jira. It's asking me to use singular project parameters when there are several projects we're trying to upload to.
This is incredibly frustrating.
Hi @Brenda Barham I'm not sure what steps you are using, but I found this support article from Atlassian: import-data-from-a-csv-file
Is this the process you are using? This isn't using a link, but using the System / External System Import method.
You could try that to see if it works. If it doesn't, as a Project Admin using a Standard License, you could inquire with Atlassian Support with more specific information regarding your current process and get their feedback.
Hope that helps.
Yes, that's the one we were using. We used to be able to hit the option "go to old import experience" and that link was directly under the CSV upload button. Somewhere between last Wednesday and today, that link was moved.
I did more research and I found it buried down 2 steps so we are good for now, though if that option is taken away, I'm unsure how we are going to proceed. The person who built our import sheet (when he worked at Jira) said it was incredibly 'customized' and he is currently on a sabbatical.
Fingers crossed he can figure this out before it permanently goes away!
Thank you, Dan. I appreciate your time!
