A resource before us updated the JIRA source code. (yeah I know). We need to be able to run this on 7.6.8 and have pulled down the source code and are trying to do the build.sh but we are getting an error message below.

[ERROR] error An unexpected error occurred: "https://packages.atlassian.com/api/npm/atlassian-npm/@atlassian%2feslint-config-atlassian-fecq/-/@atlassian%2feslint-config-atlassian-fecq-2.0.3.tgz: Request failed \"401 Unauthorized\"".

It looks like we need access to the site https://packages.atlassian.com

I can not use the account from my.atlassian to login into the site. I am the primary contact for our license.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam Shepherd

This is a known bug with several versions of Jira 7.4.x and higher, including yours.  This bug is documented on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-66224

Unfortunately, it appears that this particular bug has not gotten a lot of attention yet, so it has been prioritized lower.  While there is not an official work-around yet, I would recommend reading into the comments there.  It appears that some other users have found other ways to patch the source in order to get the build to complete.   I haven't investigated the details of this 'patch', but perhaps this can help you.
