Bug is not getting created while sending emails

Hi Team,

Jira ticket was getting creating while sending mail to particular mail id until last week. It is not generating bug tickets now. Can someone help to figure out the issue?

Hi @Kousalya Padala ,

Welcome to the community !!

  • Please go to Admin settings --> system --> Incoming Email (https://<baseURL>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/IncomingMailServers.jspa
  • Check if there is configuration to create ticket in the required project and issue type. 
  • Mail Handler Type should be "Create a new issue or add a comment to an existing issue" OR "Create a new issue from each email message"

Please note: Jira Software can receive emails from licensed users to create issues or add comments and attachments automatically

If the configuration is not present, then please go through below link to configure as required

I have the same configuration. It's stopped working for the past couple of days. I am having these kind of issues intermittently.

In this case, you need to contact Atlassian support in https://support.atlassian.com/contact/. They can investigate the logs.
