Bug - In releases the drop down when adding the story is tiny and impossible to see

This is a bug bear. In the releases part of Jira. There is a drop down when you add a story and the width is fixed, its absolute impossible to see the detail name... Why cant ALL drop downs fix to the length of the story name when adding them?? e. g linked , blocked etc

Thats already tracked under "Umbrella" JAC [JRACLOUD-84225] [Tracked in Issue Links] various fields that cut-off / truncate / obscure name of option - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

I would recommend upvoting and watching the existing suggestion, or asking your admin to open a ticket and address it directly with Atlassian Support.

The Community forum is useful to validate whether others see the same UX problem and to share possible workarounds, but it is not the best official place to submit or track a product change.

For that, JAC is the better place to vote, watch, and comment on an existing suggestion, or to create a new one if no exact match exists.

As @Arkadiusz Wroblewski is right on mentioning the feature request for this.

On the layout of the issue, place the sprint field in the description section, this will provide you with a wider field perspective.

This is related to the work item view, as the same complaints are noted, for fields like;

• Parent
• Version

For the Release option itself, there is no option to change this, for now.
