Bug: Done/Completed Epics are showing in Epics dropdown when sub-tickets aren't marked complete

Bug

Closed or completed Epics are still displayed in the Add Epic selection list.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Board section.
  2. Open a ticket that does not currently have an Epic assigned.
  3. Click Add Epic.
  4. Click View All Epics.

Actual Behavior

The list displays every Epic, including Epics marked Done, Complete, or otherwise closed. This appears to occur when a completed Epic still contains duplicate tickets or tickets that were not individually marked as completed.

Expected Behavior

Epics marked Done, Complete, or closed should not appear in the View All Epics list when assigning an Epic to a ticket, or there should be a toggle to ensure this behavior doesn't display as in other Epic dropdowns (ex., Parent Dropdown).

Hi @Joseph Suvak have you by chance searched on Atlassian's Jira Site for this issue?  I took a quick look and didn't see something like that out there.  If you don't see it, feel free to create one.  You could also post the number here, so if people wanted to watch and vote for it, they could.

Hope that helps.
