I am Quality Assurance Engineer and newbie to Jira environment. Kindly describe the Jira Workflow i.e.
While configuring project, I selected templated of Bug tracking. Someone please brief what status should be set at different stages of test life cycle.
Thanks
The workflow above is as so: To do state is a bug is open to be work on. In progress state is being worked on. In review means the fix reviewed. Once review is done and working, it goes to done.
2nd, this is really dependent on your software delivery process to figure out what status should have. There could be state for Test is progress and and/or Ready to Test.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply. It helps me understand.
Couple of more things:
1) In review means the fix reviewed
Fix reviewed OR Fix being reviewed?
2) State for Test is progress and and/or Ready to Test
This means text of workflow states to be updated or to insert new steps within the current states. Any help URL in this regard.
Thanks
