Hello Everyone,
I just have a simple question because our team was a little bit confused when we suddenly found the following option in our Jira Cloud Board Settings:
What are Edits? I have never seen that before. I figured the Shares Option is only for the "Viewing Option" and the "Edits Option" so people can edit issues on the board? I do not really understand it, since nothing changed for us and everybody still has the same rights.
Can somebody explain it to me or send me a link to where I can find something on that topic? Didn't really find anything.
Thank you very much,
Brian
Hi @Brian Hennessey ,
"Edits" is part of board filter configuration. By default, all project roles within you project can see the board filter but just the board admin can edit it.
Through this setting you can allows specific project roles, groups or user to edit filter associated to board itself.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Hello Fabio,
thank you for your fast response. I think I get it, but how is different from the filter settings/subscriptions? Or is it the same and just an easier way to do so?

Hi @Brian Hennessey ,
it allows to edit filter permission as per filters setting. Because this is a filter associated to a specific board, this feature simply help you to do that from board perspective.
