Hello,

I'd like to block users from adding things to a sprint, but still let them create and organize the backlog. I've tried to use the Schedule Issues Permissions for this, but it blocks both.

Any idea of how can I achieve it?

Hi @Luiz Santos

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. The reason is that both the ranking (prioritization and reordering in the backlong) and the scheduling (moving issues in and out of sprints) is determined by the same two permissions. These two are:

1. Edit issues

2. Schedule issues

The idea behind it is that the moving of issues in the backlog can be seen as a way of scheduling the issues since it, according to how SCRUM works, actually determines when a issue is to be developed.

Hope this helps and clarifies the situation!
