I’ve been trying to streamline some repetitive tasks in Jira, but I’m struggling to find the right balance between built-in automation and external scripting tools. Some solutions work well but require too much manual tweaking.

I recently came across hohohub free script , and it got me thinking—has anyone here used custom scripts to automate workflows effectively?

Would love to hear your thoughts on the best approaches, whether it's through built-in Jira automation, third-party scripts, or plugins. Any recommendations?

I have not used custom scripts for this purpose.
