Best Practice for Business Management and Development?

Hello Community,

I just started using Jira for my company business management and development task management. Since I just started how to do project managing, I still have no idea what is the best practice for my business use case:

Currently I use Jira Software for:

• Manage my bussiness operations ( Marketing, HR, Legal, etc )
• Manage my bussiness site ( Bug Tracking and Development )

The question is should I merge them as Boards in one project or should I separate them to 2 projects? What is the pros and cons for this?
