Hi I have a new project and when my team search for the name of the person that is clearly in the ticket (created through the portal) it does not come up with any matches whether selecting the project or not. This is working fine in my other projects and I can't figure out why.
In Short
Test Ticket Created in Portal (known data entered Client Name field Fuchsia)
Search in Project and no tickets found with the information Fuchsia
Search only works if we add the data in the Summary Field
I have checked my other projects and it works.
Can you please help?
Simple search only looks in the standard text based fields. Is your "client name" field a user picker or select list?

Not sure I haven't heard these terms before. What I do know is that other projects that use the same "client name" field can be searched. Any ideas? Is there a way I can check what you are asking?
