Backlog statuses

I created a status in our Kanban backlog of 'Icebox', to indicate items that are on hold or pending further discussion. Is there a way to group the tickets with this status so they display under a header of 'Icebox' on the Backlog board? 

Right now I have 2 groups, 1) Backlog and 2) Ready for Development, and I'm able to drag tickets from one to the other, which updates their status.  I'd like to be able to do the same with a status of 'Icebox'.  Thanks

Hello @Kevin Kendell welcome to the community, what you are looking for isn't available in Jira but maybe you could have an epic for this icebox and put tickets there. That way, if you show the epics on the board, there will be a place where to easily find them and drop the issues as well

Hello Kevin,

Welcome to the community.

I do not believe that is a feature that is available OTB.

Based on my experience the Backlog screen for Kanban shows only the "Backlog" grouping and whatever column is displayed left-most in the Kanban board.
