Backlog section not available in Kanban Board

Hi, i don't see "Backlog" section in my Kanban board. Mine is JIRA v 6.4

Is that is the standard/functionality? no Backlog for Kanban board? or do we have to make any configurations to make it available for kanban boards?

Please help me out.

you need to be in version 7.4 or higher for the kanplan backlog view.
