Hi everyone.
We have some automations set up which create new tickets for us in Jira Software project, allowing us to proceed to the next stage of our development process.
Now the automations work great however there is no notification present - not like the little popups in the left corner that Jira shows when you use [Create] button to create one.
I was thinking of modifying our automations to show a message in the similar manner, however did not see that option among the "Notifications" segment, so wanted to see if this would be interesting to others and possibly end up being part of Jira Software in near future.
The great thing about this small notification is that you see that it is created as well as the link to it.
* This is an option for Action on automation rules.
Alternatively is there some other way to show a notification on the screen (not email, Slack or otherwise) that exists at this time?
Edit:
* Including a screenshot sample of the message box
Hi Bane, welcome to the community.
If you are asking whether you can cause the bell icon and/or the pop-up issue created banner within an automation rule then unfortunately that is not feasible in the current product.
Hi Jack, thank you for the info. I have included a screenshot of the "new issue created message box" I was talking about in the original post. Notification bell area would be good as well, however preference being for this message box.
When checked, I did see it as missing, however there was an option bellow that suggested if I asked here, it might get added ;)
My guess if enough of people like the idea :)

Yes that is what I assumed you were speaking of. Correct it is not available in Automation. There may already be a suggestion located at jira.atlassian.com. You can check there to see if there’s an issue already opened suggesting that.
