Automation rule: how do I check IF current issue has a Parent?

Not WHAT the Parent is, but how do I check if the current issue has one?

I basically want to say:

If there's a Parent, then do this...

If there isn't a Parent, then do this...

Figured it out myself! It's by using the 'If block' component to make IF/ELSE logic.

Hi @Luke

Create an automation rule that checks on "parent"  field is it empty do this if its not empty do that.

But what do you want to do then if the value of the parent field is empty or not?

Hi - thanks! I actually figured it out myself after tinkering a bit and found the 'If block' that allows IF/ELSE type logic. Pretty cool!

Thanks for your feedback.
