Hello!
Could you please help me with automation rule:
I have the automation rule that create every month new epic. And I need the rule that allow to put link on this epic not by key, but by text in resume. The choices that I have are current, trigger, epic or the exact key.
The only way for me is once a month go to rule and indicate epic link after creation of epic here: http://joxi.ru/Y2LXJ0zI7YvJa2
Is it possiple to do anything that helps me to do it automatically?
Hi @Сахаревич Янина , welcome to the Community. I'm not sure what your goal is here. It sounds like you have a rule to create an epic each month and this is working correct? Now you are inquiring about how to put a link on the epic? This is the part I don't understand. Are you trying to add an issue and link it to this epic or something else?
Hi, Jack
I have new epic every month and every month I need to change previous epic key on a new in this rule http://joxi.ru/Y2LXJ0zI7YvJa2. So I am interested is it possible somehow to point in this rule the following condition: "link issue with epic in which there is a text "newtat" and status not Ready"

So I think you are saying that you have a rule that references a Epic Link and each month you create a new epic and need that original rule to be updated w/ the new Epic Link. So basically one rule invoking another rule. Here is a previous thread where this was discussed.
Ultimately what I think you want is for the "monthly new epic" rule to trigger the other automation somehow. It is hard for me to come up w/ a solution w/o really understanding the full picture. there may be a different approach.
