In the workflow below, I can receive plain text messages in slack, but when I attempt to use a smart variable (which the documentation indicates is supported), The field is empty in the message. Perhaps I need to ensure the issue creation succeeds before sending the slack message? Thanks for any help!
@Pramodh M Thats was exactly it, thank you very much!

I have the exact same issue. not sure which "branch" you are referring to. Im getting the built-in smart values - but none of the custom ones are returning any data.
