Automatically update main ticket and sub-tasks if any sub-task is set to "Deprecated"

If I change a Jira sub-task status to "Deprecated" how can I have it automatically update the statuses of the main ticket and other related sub-tasks to "Deprecated"

Hi @Ghia Walker ,

I think the easiest you'll get there from here is by adding Jira Misc Workflow Extensions to your instance. I use it in the Server edition as well and it is  one of a couple of staples that I need to do All The Things. Wouldn't try to run a system without it. There is definitively a workflow post function in there to transition subtasks and/or linked issues.
