I currently have an automation that moves the epic to In Progress whenever a child issue (story) moves into In Progress.
I'm needing to now add functionality so that: When the Epic moves into progress (either manually or from a child story automation trigger), the start date automatically populates in the epic. Is this possible? I haven't been able to successfully get this to work.
Yes, this is possible. Please show us the rule(s) that you have tried and show us the Audit Log entries for their executions where they did no do what you expected.
