Auto watch own issue - help needed

Hi

I have set the Auto watch own issue to "No" in the User Default Setting page. But in the Personal Setting page, Watch your issues option is enabled.

In this scenario, when I am making comment on the Jira issue, I am automatically being added as a watcher.

Can someone please tell me if this is the expected behavior ?

I was thinking that, user will not be auto added to the watcher if Auto watch own issue is set to "No" in the User Default Setting page.

Yes, this is expected behavior because the Systems Setting does not override the personal settings.
