Auto-managed sprints - "Anonymous" user updated issue

Michelle Nguyen April 11, 2024

Hello!

The auto-managed sprints feature allows you to move the Open issues to the next sprint as shown below:

The email notifications that are sent out for every issue that gets moved to the new sprint show that "Anonymous updated an issue"

Is there any way for it to NOT to show up as "Anonymous" as it raises security concern from users?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Michelle

Hello @Michelle Nguyen

Since the action is happening automatically, there is no user to associate to the action.

What would you want it to say instead of "Anonymous"?

can we assign this "action" to an internal Jira account like "admin" ?
