Auto create issues in an epic

I have a project that has 2 boards. I want to create automation that when an epic is created in one board, It should populate the predefined 87 stories. Can anyone advise on how to automate this. Can we set a rule for automation in one board alone.

Hi @S, Dinesh Kumar 

You can do this in 2 rules; you'd have to create each Story as an Action. You can set unique details (Project, Summary, etc) per Action.

You need 2 rules though as each rule can only have up to 65 components (actions, triggers, etc). You can see service limits on this help page.

If you want the second rule to be activated by the first rule, you will need:

• A Trigger which is activated by one of the other Actions - eg. a certain parameter on a created Story
• To allow the 2nd rule to be activated by another rule. You can set this in the Rule Details section
