I see you created a support request for this same issue. To help others that might come across this same kind of question, at the current time Atlassian requires that Cloud monthly subscriptions can only accept credit card or Paypal payments. From the licensing pages in https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/cloud#managingyourmonthlysubscription-2
2. What payment options are available for monthly subscriptions?
To ensure timely payment for monthly subscriptions, we're only able to accept payment via credit card or PayPal. The card on file can be updated by the Primary Billing Contact via their My Atlassian account at any time, or you can elect to pay via PayPal via the Billing Details section of your Atlassian Cloud subscription.
*Unfortunately, we're unable to accept Discover credit cards for monthly renewals.
Annual payments allow for different payment methods as described in https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/cloud#managingyourannualsubscription-2
However the annual pricing tiers can be different than the monthly user pricing tiers. That second link does have more details about the pricing differences.
