We have projects with workflows that change from time to time.
Is there a way to get more details out of the Audit Log or get notifications when a workflow gets changed?
Below is a screenshot of one of the logs, it suggests a change but doesnt seem to note what the change was.
This is still a gap in Jira Cloud even today.
The audit log can show that a workflow was changed, but it’s quite hard to understand what exactly changed or to work with that information during an investigation.
In practice, the biggest pain I keep seeing is:
– isolating only workflow-related changes
– understanding them quickly
– exporting them when debugging incidents
We ran into this enough times that I ended up building a small tool to filter and present just workflow changes in a more readable way.
Happy to share if still relevant.
Hi Levon,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, there is no option to show what was changed in the workflow. We don’t have a feature request for that yet, so please, feel free to raise one on jira.atlassian.com (project JRACLOUD) and add more details about why this feature is important for your environment or you can let us know and I’ll create the feature on your behalf.
Related to notifications, we have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Regards,
Angélica
