Attachments are not accessible in JIRA Issues sice upgrade

We just upgraded from JIRA version 6.0.7 to 6.3.7 and since the upgrade we are unable to successfully add an attachment to a JIRA issue. Also, all JIRA items that existed prior to the upgrade that had attachments, are no longer accessible.
