@Abhisek Mohan  If you would like to attach any document or screenshots please use attach option. If you paste Any URL or doc links into text fields, you may encounter these issues.

Hello @Abhisek Mohan

Welcome to the Jira Community.

Have you paste or drag and drop the attachement? Please use Attach option instead of pasting them to comments and description.

If inline display is not desired, edit the ticket description/comment and remove the embedded image, then re-upload it through the attachments panel.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Hi @Abhisek Mohan ,

When you drag‑and‑drop or upload screenshots to the issue (outside the description), Jira:

  • Stores them as attachments, and

  • Shows them in the attachment gallery, which is rendered near the top of the issue.

So for now, you can:

  • Remove specific attachments (hover over them in the Attachments area and click the bin/trash icon, if you have permissions), or

  • Avoid pasting large screenshots into the Description if you don’t want a visually “heavy” top section.

I hope everything works out well for you.

Bestest regards,

Peter
